Using this experience, we are able to help you meet your goals when a rehab plan is needed - from a simple ankle sprain to a complex ACL post operative return to play, and everything in-between.

Assessment & Diagnosis

Without a thorough assessment (both verbal and physical) to obtain an accurate working diagnosis of your symptoms, condition and underlying cause, you may as well be throwing darts blindfolded. We take pride in always undertaking a thorough individualised assessment to truly understand you and your problems and goals. We might not be able to fix everything at this stage but we’ll almost always be able to give you sound advice and set you off on your recovery journey on the right foot from day one.

Manual Therapy

This can be a great tool to help pain relief, normalise movement, improve mobility or flexibility. Manual therapy is often used in combination with exercises or other treatment options like taping. Types of manual therapy include joint mobilisation techniques, soft tissue release / massage, assisted movement or stretches (to name a few).

Rehabilitation

Rehabilitation isn’t just throwing a few exercises together and hoping for the best. It’s a carefully crafted art of progressive exposure, creating capacity for change and expertly guiding someone through a return to their goals. And it’s one of our super-strengths. We’ve successfully rehabilitated some of the world’s best athletes and we pride ourselves on taking that same level of care with each and every client’s pathway to success. Whether it’s an ACL injury or a post-op shoulder to rehab (or anything in-between), we’ll ensure you’re on the right track. Contact us today to discuss your rehabilitation needs.

Exercise Therapy

We will often use exercise within our 1:1 treatment sessions and will usually give you some sort of exercise to do as homework too in order to facilitate a quicker progression of your treatment journey. Exercises can vary hugely depending on the intended outcome: flexibility, mobility, strength, control, balance etc. Regardless of what is involved, the advised exercise will always be tailored to your unique context and help get you back on track and smashing goals

Signposting

When a condition needs a referral to another medical or healthcare professional, suitable imaging (X-ray, MRI, Ultrasound) or would be best suited to a treatment option we can’t offer, we’ll always help you find a way forward. We’ve a growing network of trusted colleagues we can liaise with in the Moray and North East Scotland region (or national / international contacts should they be required).
